Last month we had our Ragnarok session in order to celebrate the pending end of the world. (We did it a month early to make sure the circumstances of those End Times wouldn't interfere with our class.) We had appearances from Cornelius Dapperdu, Molly Tilly, Penny Maple, and Vorel Sarkany for our Apocalypse themed life drawing class. Those pictures are coming soon, because of the End Times. BUT FIRST. I want to give our shout out to Cards Against Humanity for giving us a copy of their hard to find card game to give away.
Cards Against Humanity is a card game for horrible people which is very fitting since Sketchy's is the art class for horrible people. For the rules think Apples to Apples, but every cards is Aids and worse. There are a series of black cards which features a question or blank. Each player has white cards in hopes of filling those blanks. The funniest (or most terrible) answer takes an awesome point.
Since last June Sketchy's Charleston has been using CAH in one of our drawing contests. I would draw a random white card, the model would pose, and then whatever card I drew would have to be included in the drawing. "$3.99 Shrimp Buffet" went great with our Narin the Mermaid session. This time "Extremely Tight Pants" were drawn. Sorry for the pun. (See above).
Our first runner up was on to something but shoving Cthulhu into those tight pants, but wasn't quite there. He took home some Twinkies for his effort since we snagged one of the last boxes.
Our winner took home his own copy of Cards Against Humanity by finally putting some pants on those tentacles. I mean sure it's the end of everything we've ever loved or will be, but have SOME decorum, Cthulhu!
However, this other runner up made be consider making them split the cards if they're just going to copy off each other. Next time I might not be so generous.
